With extensive knowledge of historic carving, bench joinery and surface finishes, we specialize in the restoration of traditional woodwork from sympathetic repairs and consolidations to full reproductions of furniture and architectural elements.

Our Process
Extensive client consultation and research - we understand the complexities of dealing with historic objects and will discuss the most considerate approach.
Scale drawings, clay maquettes and 3D scanning/printing to assist production where neccessary. We also produce finished samples, especially when trying to emulate an aged or distressed surface finish.
Time-honoured techniques - whenever feasible, we exclusively employ hand tools and historic practices, to ensure the integrity of the object.
